Veil - 1Man-3Heroes
Is DOA really DEAD? or are ppl just not thinking outside the box? URSAN is Nered? so? Here is Veil Run i did with just Heroes. After 10 tries, I got it down and was able to finish it. I wouldn't recommend this build to ppl new to DOA and tanking in DOA but it has it charm. It really isn't a run for the faint at heart or whatever the expression is. It remind me of the Perm-Sin Build in Tomb, you can feel like you achieved something after it's done. Pointless but its fun to know that you're one of the few that can finish it. PM me up in-game if you want the builds for the run.
Anyways, my real objective here is to actually look for someone that can run a SY! Para with max LB/SS/Deldrimor ranks for a TEST DOA full run in HM. Please be somewhat experience to the OLD School DOA style and be able to mulittask a bit b/c you will have to control some hero's skills.

Sorry, can't say my paragon has those ranks.

And post the rest.

how so? I'm up for suggestion. I actually test out a few builds for the war, and that's the best one i can think of for veil.

NM is sorta fail.
however, thats a semi-creative tank'n'spank build you have there.

Nice... although basically all areas can be done relatively easy, 600/famine/smite foundry and city, veil was never that hard, and gloom is equally simple. But still nice and original. Seems about the same time that that oldschool teams took to clr veil (albeit minus cons, which apparently you had).

thanks for the comments guys. I only made this new build to put it out there telling ppl that there much more you can do in DOA. I really wasn't trying to finish veil when I first started the build actually. It was more me testing out a new tank build to replace my friend who would normally Ursan tank for me when we dual DOA with heroes. I guess you can call it heroes way or whatnot. Personally I prefer to run it with heroes then real players b/c it just take less time to get the run started, as my guild is not an active guild.
As for cons, yes I did used it for this run but it was more for speed, After 9 runs and failing inside the thread or at the claws I got tired of spending 1 hours just to get there without cons. however to do it without cons, you would actually have to drop a skill for sprint so you can break the 2 hunger group for the first quest or be even more creative and use a birthday cupcake when you pull. It's there for a reason you know. ^_^
SY! really isn't the new Ursan, as I say before when everyone was ursanwaying, me and my friend would run DOA with a SY! paragon(me) and Ursan (him) withs just heroes builds. With our LB8 title, we were able to finish a full run in 1:50min fastest time. SY! was used in DOA way before gwen ever came out. It was more like there wasn't that many paragon with the rank needed to run the build.
As for my atts, it goes as 12 Axe, 12 STR. The basic Pvp armors for more HP. Helm is modded for 1+2 STR. LB8, SS8, Norn2. Skill bar is there I think.

always wondering why:
- most people post screenshots without showing builds etc
- people always know better but not showing an alternative with builds etc...
come on...post the template codes...please

didis, the builds it self is still in the work. I'm trying to work out some the skills bars our for a quad run. I'm just posting update of picture as I go on to give ppl ideas. The builds itself is a modded up version of my veil run with 8man, some skills taken out and changed for HM. As soon as I'm complete the builds, I'll post it up on a new forum. For now, I'm keep you guys posted as I work with the build.

the gloom run was done with my veil tank build, however he didn't have I'm Unstoppable and Recall. That was switch for Balance stance and Dolyak Signet. Hopefully he's getting I'm Unstoppable for a run I plan to do tonight starting at Veil to Foundry. Btw thanks for the comment R Langdon, much appreciated.
guraka, where you trying it with my builds? it's hard to do if you're new and it really just work in veil b/c there no healer there. PM in game if you got problem with it and I'll help you with what I can.

well tbh i never got to experiance proper doa, i got nightfall a wile after it came out and when i completed it ursan was the only way people where doing it. so i ranked my ursan up a bit and by the time my rank was close to good enough it got nerfed. ever since then ive been wanting to do doa with heros. me and my mate are planning on doing 8 man party 2 people 6 heros just gotta work on the builds.

ok my and my guildie just ran a test run in city,
we were useing,
nuker, jaggie mm, ss, i was tank using a build similar to urs works very well btw, he was a knockdown, icy healer and a divert hexes monk.
we did this run using no cons sets it was more of a test to see if we were capable of killing groups and learning the pulls on my part. aslong as you tackle this group by group and try to get them bunched up we were very successful. being someone thats never done this before it was good for learning where the patrols went and where i could block them in.
on our next run we will be useing cons sets and will know what we are doing, one tip the eles in the groups are our first to take out. These literaly will rip through your back lines if not stopped.
hope this is some contribution and will inspire people to go try this themselfs and even the most inexperianced doa player can try.
will post the team builds we are using at a later date when they are refined and will post screenies.
thanks.
